Weigh impacts carefully. Environmental harms on this topic tend to be diffuse, long-term, and cumulative. Economic harms tend to be immediate and localisable. Judges with different frameworks will weight these very differently. Read your judge before the round.
Water is underused. The grid strain argument will be run by every team. The water consumption and environmental justice arguments are less saturated in early rounds and often more compelling to lay judges.
